Description
The White mask is a story about a homeless teen that has no one. Her name is Louise and she looks upon a tale about The Phantom. Erik became a legend because he suffered so much pain that he could understand anyone else’s pain. A man named Joseph found Erik and his story and made a Park named after him. He wanted a place for other outcasts to go when they felt they had no one.
Louise finds a White mask and every time she puts it on, she could see Erik, The Phantom.
After the Phantom died he made a deal with the boss (Who we never see or learn anything about him) to stay on earth to be a guardian angel. Erik is alive in the hearts and souls who believe in him and he protects them. No one sees him, but Louise because they fall in love.
Louise meets Erik through the White mask and shares a love they both never had, but yearned for.
A priest is full of rage and jealousy towards Erik because he became famous; when to him they were both the same. He turns against him and tries to use Louise to destroy him.
This is a tale to give people hope and show them the unbelievable could come true, if you dare to believe. This story also shows people who have no one that they can look upon characters and tales to give them comfort they truly need. The Phantom’s story has touched my life through comfort in the most unbelievable ways to describe and that is what I want others to learn, that they can feel that kind of power too.
This story is based on a dream I had years ago. I think I dreamed it to make others aware that you are not alone; it’s ok to look upon characters too.
(This story is inspired from The Phantom of the opera by: Andrew Lloyd Webber, who introduced me to this amazing character.)
Characters
Louise
Louise is a lonely, sincere, dreamer who is hopeless, creative, sweet and caring. Louise is also nice, scared, an outcast, quiet, sensitive, confused, innocent, sad, mysterious and dwells on the past.
Background: Her father went to war, as she had to be there for her mother. Her father never returned and her mother went insane because she couldn’t handle being without her husband. Louise ran off and found Phantom Peak and made it her home. Her mother eventually dies from a heart attack.
Young Louise
She is quiet, innocent, adores her father, considerate, helpful, a dreamer, and a follower.

Erik, the Phantom
Erik is a guardian angel who works for a higher up. He is the character who protects those who believe in him. He is quiet, unknown and unseen, sad, a stranger, mysterious and a legend. The Phantom is sincere and learns how to love himself and others.
Background: He is known from the tale of the Opera House. He was born with a half ugly face and his mother gave him a mask to cover up his darkness from the world. He was abused from society and so he hides from the world under the Paris Opera House. He falls in love with a women name Christine Daae’ who could not love him back, the way he loved her. He murdered people as he tried to win the girl he loved through his music. Erik never won her heart and thought he’d never fall in love again.
Jessica: She is shy, innocent, disobedient, creative, and a curious rich teen. Jessica is an only child who is lonely, sad; try’s to impress her parents and kids at school. She is thoughtful, good, sweet, a dreamer and a follower.
Background: Her parents are rich and stubborn spoiled snobs. They don’t like Louise and don’t want Jessica to be friends with her because she is not like them. Jessica likes stories because her grandfather, who was the only person in her family to ever give her attention.
The Still Brothers:
Kurdy: Is the older brother. He acts tough, always in charge and likes to take action. Kurdy likes to impress his younger brother, Mark. Kurdy also over –re acts, is a troublemaker, popular and loves to be the center of attention.
Mark: Is the younger brother who is gentle, nerdy, and sensitive. He always thinks before he speaks and does everything that Kurdy asks with out question. He has a sense of humor and likes to impress his brother.
Note: They both act like the Archie characters from the comic books when drunk.
Background: Both brothers lived together in a rich home growing up. There parents were never around due to work, but gave them all the money in the world and spoiled them. Kurdy was popular throughout life while Mark was the opposite. So Kurdy was always there for his brother looking out for him when kids picked on him. The both grew attached to each other and relied on each other since they both had no one else.
The Priest He is a lonely, quiet, unhappy, a fake, and has a double life. He is also resentful, a traveler, selfish, an outcast, angry, generous only when he’ll get something in return.
Background: An orphan teen who searched the world his whole life for the Phantom. When he found him he became full of rage and jealousy as he wanted to destroy him for he had more than he did when to him they were both the same.
Bishop: Is considerate, busy, a mentor, a monitor, furious, a protector, sweet and loves God.
Background: He grew up in a church and studied catholic since he was a young boy. He is well known and watches over a lot of churches.
Jeremiah Klien: Is the head sheriff of the
Background: His father was the sheriff and so Jeremiah spent most of his life trying to measure up to his father standards. He acts that way towards those who work for him.
Example: A business sales man.
Derek Mason: He is a young guy who is 25 and always takes orders. He is smart, outgoing, and tough and takes pride in his work and loves to be the best.
Background: Derek went to collage when he was 15 and than was accepted to the
Erin Chaney: Is an outspoken, outgoing and a partier. He is 24, wild, inconsiderate, and hates his life and work. He is likeable, a trouble maker and doesn’t like to take orders without a reason.
Background: His parents made him go to the army at age thirteen. He received a scholarship to go to the
The Voice: We never see him or find out more about him. We only know that Erik works for him. He is like a God who is powerful, good, and sincere and watches over people. He is tough, in charge, mysterious and only appears he is needed by his powerful voice.
Narrator: She is sincere and is sensitive to the tale she has to speak of. She makes it a mystery, so people will stay along. She is warm, thankful and loves the story.
The Mother:
Erik’s mother is furious on why she had to have a baby looking like a monster. She is terrified of him, so she never goes near him, comforts him or spends time with him. All she does is boss him around and wishes he was never there. She is mean, ignorant, selfish, harsh, and is like the mother you wish you never had.
Background: The mother was a spoiled brat. She got everything she wanted from her parents. She fell in love with a man who her father adored and was proud of. She never wanted a child because she though her husband would love the child more than her. Her husband died before Erik was born. To her she had the best life until Erik came along.
Rachel Kind: She is straightforward, quiet and always looking for help. She was lonely, scared of life and didn’t know who she was. She always took orders and went insane when she was scared of Erik.
Background: Rachel ran away from home because her parents wanted her to have an arranged marriage that she was not proud of.
Cody King: He is simple, sincere, a keeper, and a messenger and does what he is told.
Background: He was given a job from the Voice. His job was to teach, explain and train people how to be a guardian angel once chosen by the voice. He had a good life and was reward to do the same to others, so they might have the life he did.
Joseph Alexander: Joseph is a man who wanted to teach others what he has learned from life. He wanted to protect people, train them life skills, loved mystery and searched for the truth.
Background: He was a happy young boy who loved his parents unconditionally. However, one night flames took away everything. In one night his family went to sleep and it was thundering that night. He was scared as he knew something bad would happen, but a deep voice had comforted him to go to sleep. During his sleep his house went up on flames. He was the only one who was saved by a man in a white mask. His voice sounded the same as the one who comforted him to go to sleep. The man with the White mask tried to save his family, but had to vanish because the fire team was there. The fire team failed to relieve his parents from the fire. He didn’t know who this mystery man was. Although he was saved, his face was badly scared. They reported it arson and never solved the crime. After that he created U.M so he can devote his life to try and find the man with the White mask. He eventually finds him.
He is a plain, simple man who made his life his work. He is anti-sociable, bitter, hopeless, curious and polite. He has no family, nut his happy with his life. He has no friends, but is happy about who he is.
Background: Markus was born in the cabin that he lived in. His father was a Park Ranger, so he took over his father’s life after his parents died.
Young Louise’s Father: He’s unique, special, a protector, a solider and cares about his family and country.
Background: His family was in the war before three generations, so he was obsessed over it and loved it all.
Young Louise’s mother: She is sweet, kind, a house mom, has mental issues and loves her husband deeply.
Background: Her mother died when she was young and so she had to look after her father who abused her. One day, Louise’s father was walking by there house when he noticed Louise’s mother running out of the house as her father was drunk and tried to rape her. Louise’s father saved her mother from her own father. They both got married and started a new life.
